Commemorate a renowned American novelist with the new Saul Bellow stamp from the U.S. Postal Service.

The 34th stamp in the Literary Arts series features a portrait of Bellow in front of a Chicago street scene. Behind him are the city’s skyscrapers, with the L train running between the buildings. Illustrator Joe Ciardiello created the art with pen, ink, and watercolor on watercolor paper.

The Saul Bellow stamps are being issued as Three-Ounce stamps. Like a Forever stamp, this stamp will always be valid for the rate printed on it.
